Dark green waxed cotton, the classic British country look, named 'Rembrandt'. For dachshunds who consider a muddy field a perfectly good afternoon.

  • Original British waxed cotton: water-repellent and made to last for years
  • Finished with a red corduroy bias
  • Cut for the dachshund body, covering the long back
  • Gets better with age, like any good waxed jacket
  • Please don't put it in the washing machine: washing removes the wax, just like with a classic waxed country jacket
  • When the wax wears thin over time, the coat can simply be re-waxed

Also available with a brown bias ('Turner').

This special waxed cotton is also machine washable at 30° degrees.

The rain jacket is made out of waterproof waxed cotton, a checkered cotton lining and red corduroy edging.

The velcro straps allow an adjustment in the chest area and in the belly area.

The waxed cotton raincoats are a little bit longer than our winter coats due to the nature of the fabric. After wearing them for a couple of times, the fabric may create some little wrinkles around neck and shoulders, which will stay there and take some of the length. You could compare this with the wrinkles you get around the elbow when wearing a leather jacket. Therefore we made them a bit longer, because that causes them to shrink a little in length.
